LEVELS OF SPONSORSHIP - ELVIN H.O.M.E., Inc.

As ELVIN H.O.M.E. will not discriminate against any person or group of people based on their race, religion, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, political affiliation, age or gender, membership in ELVIN H.O.M.E. may not be restricted beyond the required membership fees and legal paperwork—with the exception that all persons 17 years and under must have written permission (from a parent or guardian) to join ELVIN H.O.M.E., Inc.

Levels of Sponsorship

a. FRIEND—“guest sponsor”—A person who visits Lothlorien for a single day or for the duration of a particular event.

b. ELENDIL—“root sponsor”— A person who purchases an Elvin H.O.M.E. Sponsorship for a single year, 5 years, 10 years, or for the remainder of their lifetime. Root Members receive discounts on their facility use fees to Elvin H.O.M.E. sponsored events.

c. ELVIN-STAFF—“volunteer sponsor”— Volunteer Elendil who is commited to help provide an essential service for Elvin H.O.M.E. and Lothlorien on a regular basis. After a minimum period of 6 months working on the Elvin Staff, a Volunteer Sponsor may apply for an Apprentice Eldar Steward position in the Elvin Stewards. Volunteer Sponsors may attend Governing Council meetings and may speak when asked to do so but have no vote. An Elendil must spend at least 14 hours per month working in the Elvin Staff to retain Volunteer Sponsorship status. Elvin Staff members may attend all ELF sponsored events with a valid commitment.

d. STEWARD -- apprentice-eldar-steward”— Volunteer Elendil who is committed to help a particular Eldar Steward perform their Governing Council and related duties. After a minimum period of one year working within the Elvin Stewards, an Apprentice Eldar Steward becomes eligible for election into the Elder Steward Council. Apprentice Eldar Stewards may attend all Governing Council meetings and may speak freely but have a limited vote. An Elendil must spend at least 28 hours per month working as an Elvin Steward to retain Apprentice Eldar Steward status. Elf Clan members may attend all ELF sponsored events with a valid committment.

e. ELDAR STEWARDS—“legal guardian/responsible”— Volunteer Elendil who is contracted to fill a particular position of legal responsibility within the consensus governing (voting) body of Elvin H.O.M.E., Inc. Each Eldar Steward has one vote plus veto power in Governing Council meetings. An Elendil must spend at least 28 hours per month working in the Governing Council to retain Elving Eldar Steward status. Governing Council members may attend all Elvin H.O.M.E. sponsored events with a valid committment.

Children are subject to the same rules as adults. Children 12 years and younger and seniors 65 years and older may attend Elvin H.O.M.E. sponsored events free of charge. Teens 13 through 19 receive a special discount off Elvin H.O.M.E. sponsored event facility use fees.
